Let’s travel to London and know interesting things!!

For this project , work in groups of 4 or five people and make a power point presentation  or a video about a monument you choose.

Use the internet to search for information about how to travel to Britain from your city to visit the interesting place.

Your project should include:

a. Historical background of the city.

b. Area  and population

c. Currency

d. Popular tourist destinations and holidays.

e. Information on the monument and nearer places.

f. Typical things to buy as a souvenir

g. Attractive slogan to convince people to visit it.

The project should have visual support (images!!!)

Be creative and imaginative. I hope you like this project.

WHERE ARE YOU? September 21, 2009

Are you in Great Britain?? or in America?? We don’t know the place you are and the monument you are visiting.
In groups of four or five you must choose a monument (the ones seen in class!!!) and make a power point presentation including the following:
- Tell us where it is
- A brief description of it ( historical facts, interesting data…)
- Imagine a slogan to convince people to visit it.

 A Comic Story

In groups of four or five you will create a comic story with our own photos from a song in English. You will have to follow these steps:

1. Select the song from this list, find the lyrics on the Internet and read the story. You can also watch the video on youtube:

ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS IN SPAIN February 29, 2008

            

     You will visit the websites of three important ecological organisations in Spain and know more about the main environmental problems that affect our country. Each group will work on a problem related to their research topic:

Let´s write stories in English with this interesting on-line activity. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Pay attention to the teacher. She will write a story with your help.

Step 2: Now it´s your turn. Try to write your own story. Listen carefully to the text because you will have to read it aloud for the rest of your classmates. You can print the story at home.

Step 3: Finish the story on your own.

Step 4: Enjoy the activity. This is the easiest exercise, don´t you think?
